Anna Colban

After graduating in French and German, Anna Colban joined the Civil Service Fast Stream and worked from 1994 to 2006 for the Department of Trade and Industry, including stints in the Government Office for the South East and at the British Embassy Berlin Office. Her work included the 1997/1998 review of the regulation of the privatised utility companies, managing European funding programmes for the South-East of England and a spell in trade promotion. She joined the FRC in November 2006 and initially acted as Secretary to both the AADB and the Board for Actuarial Standards.
